About UsSMS Technologies is a specialist technical manufacturing company; our pedigree is from a long established multinational. The company was founded by, and continues to be led by, individuals with years of experience in both contract manufacturing and business strategy.
SMS Technologies originated in 1988 as a ‘spin-out’ from BOC International. From the start SMS Technologies have supplied products, spares, servicing and service exchange to the medical equipment industry worldwide. During the ensuing years we have also developed new products and continued with further outsourcing contracts in other technical fields.
In 2006 SMS Technologies moved to a new, purpose-built facility which includes a modern assembly area and state-of-the-art warehousing. The building is in Harlow, Essex, 30 miles north of London, and close to motorways and Stansted airport. Please see our 'Contact Us' page for further information.
